Kefir
Kefir is healthy and refreshing. People living at the Baltic Sea has always known kefir like this. Kefir is one of the keystones of healthy and balanced diet.
Kefir is an acid milk product that is obtained by fermenting pasteurised milk with acid milk bacteria yeast. In addition to the yeast, different yeasts are added that cause fermenting of spirit and provides kefir a distinctive taste. Kefir contains bacteria that are good for the digestion system, improve digestion, prevents inflammation of intestinal system and reduces lactose intolerance, it works as a natural antibiotic, strengthens immune system, and might contribute to reduction of cholesterol. Kefir contains considerably less sugar than other milk products, it is dietary and suitable for overweight people.
