PARTICIPATION IN SUMMER FANCY FOOD 2018 FAIR

The Latvian Dairy Committee became a member of the U.S. Specialty Food Association in 2018. The Milk River project participated with a stand-alone display stand of an original design located in one of the busiest sections of the trade show. The Milk River stand at the U.S. trade fair featured dairy products made by the European Union producers – cheese, cream cheese and processed cheese, butter, sour cream, curds, curd snacks and ice-cream. Over 2,400 companies had their own stands at the trade fair, and eight U.S. states and 48 countries were represented by collective stands. The fair was visited by more than 34,000 industry representatives, including several thousand wholesale buyers and purchasing managers of major retail chains.
