12-14 December 2017. International Food Exhibition SIAL ME 2017 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Through its strategy development and increase in growth (+16 % visitors in comparison to the previous year), SIAL ME has becomes one of the fastest-growing food, beverage and hospitality events in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa). The exhibition had 30 national pavilions bringing together 900 visitors and 16 000 trade visitors and representatives, and 500 representatives from the unique SIAL ME Hosted Buyers programme, i.e. VIP-level buyers. All of which makes this exhibition an important platform for establishing new cooperation contacts and a place for potential export opportunities.

Latvian milk producers used this opportunity to take part in a meeting with buyers from the Hosted Buyers programme who represented milk processing industry. Regional food and hospitality industry professionals showed great interest in the wide assortment of dairy products from Europe which demonstrates good future prospects for seizing export opportunities in MENA market.
