LATVIAN DAIRY COMMITTEE
As part of the traditional Latvian St. Martin's Day, the cooperative society LATVIAN DAIRY COMMITTEE organized a "Dairy Farmers’ and Friends’ Ball" at the Culture Center “BERGI”. They took a look back on what they had done during the whole year and gratulated the best professionals in various spheres from different Latvian food processing companies – JSC Food Union, JSC Tukuma piens, JSC Jaunpils Pienotava, JSC Smiltenes Piens, JSC Cesvaines Piens, JSC Lazdonas piensaimnieks, Jēkabpils piena kombināts Ltd., Agrolats Grupa Ltd., Rāmkalni Nordeco Ltd, JSC Dobeles dzirnavnieks and JSC Balticovo.
Certificates of gratitude from the Ministry of Agriculture and the cooperative society LATVIAN DAIRY COMMITTEE were awarded.
During the event, Mr. Armands Krauze (Minister of Agriculture), Mr. Viktors Valainis (Minister of Economy), Mr. Kaspars Melnis (Minister of Climate and Energy), Mr. Guntis Gūtmanis (chairman of the board of the association "Cooperation Council of Agricultural Organizations") and Mrs. Vanda Davidanova (chairwoman of the board of the association "Siera klubs" thanked awardees and wished success for further growth in the future to the participants of the event.
The guests of the event had the opportunity to taste the newest products created by milk processing companies, what were prepared by participants themselves for the evaluation of colleagues and competitors.
The cooperative society LATVIAN DAIRY COMMITTEE sincerely thanks the guests of the ball, supporters and companies, whose work is equally important both in providing the local market with natural and locally-made food products, and in ensuring the domestic consumption of the products produced by farmers and promoting the name of Latvia internationally during these difficult and challenging times. Latvia can be proud of high-quality and innovative food products with different new flavors, as well as the materialization of traditional dairy product recipes of Latvia and the Nordic countries in products corresponding to current global trends, using the latest processing and packaging technologies, as well as efficient design appropriate for the modern market.
